What is a conch ? Is it a shell ? A muscle for tasty recipe' ? Fishing bait?

It is all this and more: the conch is one of the most delicious shellfish in our waters and a traditional "way of life".
In the past Turks and Caicos Island inhabitants used the conch shells as building material and today to create nice souvenirs.
The particularly tender meat of the Turks and Caicos conch is exported to worldwide fish markets and used for delicious gourmet dish around the Islands.

The conch cruise will give you the chance to see conch in one of their natural habitats: the shallow waters surrounding Providenciales.

The trip will take you first to a first snorkeling location on the barrier reef to admire our colorful fish

Then your Captain will select a great snorkeling spot outside of the National Park where you will be able to
free dive with him for your own conch.

You will visit dream like beaches, such as Half Moon Bay, where you will be able to find more shells and sand dollars.

You will be then treated to a delicious conch salad, prepared for you by our friendly Captain. He will show you how to get the conch out of the shell (easy to say, but not so easy to do!). and the secret of this tasty Native dish... accompanied by true
Island Rum Punch!

You may keep your conch shell and carry it back home as a souvenir.

To the North East of Providenciales our Ocean is scattered of little inhabited Islands locally called "Cays",
home in past of the Caribbean Pirates.

They offer shallow waters and immaculate white sandy beaches that you will never forget:

The first stop at a few minutes form our dock is Little Water Cay,
home of the famous and friendly Rock Iguanas.
The National Trust of the Turks and Caicos built a natural trail that will allow you to observe them in their natural habitat
while the Park Wardens will inform you on their life.

To help the preservation of this endangered species, a US$ 5.00 Park Fee
will be collected before entering the Island by the National Trust Staff.

Our captains will show their secret spots and teach you how to snorkel
if it is your firs time.
Help us to preserve our unspoiled reef:
do not stand on it or break it.
Keep it as wonderful as it is
for the future generations !

You will cruise along our beautiful and calm shoreline, heading towards one of the pristine coral reefs populated by sting rays and
plentiful colorful fish.

Sting Rays are also often spotted in the shallow waters around Little Water Cay.

You will have the chance to find delicate san dollars and shells and stroll on the beautiful white beaches of Pine Cay.

The visit to Ft. George Cay,
pearl of the Alexandra National Park, will allow you to relax and often spot the ancient cannons submerging in the water

Across the Leeward channel, at the far east end of Provo, lies beautiful Little Water Cay, home of the Rock Iguanas.

These unique and friendly creatures will meet you on the edge of the Iguana Trail, affording excellent photo opportunities.

You will follow the nature trail that leads you around the island and have the chance to see more iguanas in their natural habitat, without disturbing them, and observe their daily life.
The National Trust Staff will guide around and inform you
on these rare animals.

Little Water Cay is protected by the Turks and Caicos Islands National Trust
and is subject to the regulation of the Princess Alexandra National Park.
An entrance fee of US$ 5.00 will be collected before reaching the Island
by the Iguana Park Staff
